Pixel Portraits by Pete Tong

During a road trip through South India, artist Pete Tong decided he wanted to create a keepsake to remember all the interesting people he met while traveling. Using an app called Dots, he sketched pixelated illustrations of all the unique strangers he encountered and compiled them all into a series called Pixel Portrait. “I believe the intention of this project is to portray individual’s character more effectively through pixels,” he explains. “Like a life sketching session, I aim to not only portray some form of realism, but also the unique character of each individual.” [Source: Culturepush]
