Lyla Foy: “Feather Tongue”

British singer/songwriter Lyla Foy just released her debut album Mirrors The Sky on SubPop. The album moves slowly with a subtle and delicate touch. Produced entirely by the artist herself, the songs float effortless with airy guitars and simple synth-pop arrangements. The new single from the album, “Feather Tongue,” just got a video to match its ethereal music. Directed by Oscar Hudson, the video is filled with beautiful shots of various people being approached by a mysterious man. Some respond with fear, others with anger or confusion. But by the end of the video, as the man approaches, everyone becomes overwhelmed with emotion and joy, hugging the mysterious tattooed man. This enigmatic clip fits nicely with Lyla Foy’s music and her listless vocals.

For a limited time, you can stream all of Mirrors The Sky on SoundCloud or you can buy it here and have it forever.
