“Cólera”, a Cinematic Short Film Shot Entirely in One Take
The plot of Cólera is a straightforward: a group of villagers, in a mission to stop the spread of diseases, try to do away with the infected. However, the cinematic construction, which is a single five-minute take, adds another level of appreciation for the film, particularly the harrowing sequence at the end that deserves a special mention. For the curious, production company Sr.&Sra. has a making of documentary as well (though it doesn’t reveal as much of the magic as you might hope).
