“Nocure” Pokes Fun at Our Digital-Obsessed Culture

Russian illustrator Evgeny Parfenov is best known for his colorful portraits of famous figures that appear in Rolling Stone, Interview, Newsweek, and others. But recently he set aside his signature style to take a stab at drawing comics. Nocure is a comic that cheekily pokes fun at our social media obsession and our reliance on it to feel secure. It’s so spot-on with its satire that it’s almost a little sad. Of course in the real world those “unlike” terrorists would be Google Glass wearers.
