Here’s a Coming-of-Age Comic About Friendships and Disappearances

The last time we heard from Belgian illustrator Luchie she was receiving lots of buzz from her comic about introversion. Her latest comic, which she posted to her blog earlier this week, is a coming of age story that revolves around three teenage girls. “My diploma comic is finally DONE,” she wrote on her blog. “I really hope you’ll like it. The theme this year was ‘Disappearance’.” Although the comic flows in a “slice-of-life” fashion as it gradually reveals subtle traits about each character, the true meat of the comic is revealed toward the end when everything is tied together in a familiar yet haunting manner.
