The Loudest Ballerina: Dance Like There’s a Monster Under Your Feet
Ballerinas: graceful, elegant, and above all light on their feet. Olivia, the titular Loudest Ballerina, struggles with this more than her fellow dancers. While her father may not be wielding a scalpel and dicing and slicing random homeless people like in Mad Father, our heroine nevertheless finds herself endangered by his questionable judgment in gifting her with a pair of custom-made steel shoes. Why? Well, for some unknown reason, the stage was built right over a sleeping monster. Dance too loudly and the monster erupts through the floor, devouring dancers and audience members alike. Thanks, Dad, real great gift you got there.
A fairly simple game with a nutty concept, The Loudest Ballerina plays a bit like a rhythm game, demanding you execute the correct move corresponding to the randomly generated lights that flash across the stage. Perform too slowly or in the wrong area and not only does your father boo your efforts (seriously, Dad?!) but a meter lets you know just how close the monster is coming to waking up.
