George Ezra: “Budapest”
“Budapest” is one of those songs that, when you listen to it for the first time, feels like something you’ve always lived with. Like it was a song your mom played on a cassette tape in the car when you were a kid, or it’s a folk song you’ve heard played in coffee shops at open mic nights and quietly hummed along to. Of course, that’s not actually the case. In reality, “Budapest” is a new song by Bristol-based singer/songwriter George Ezra, to be featured on his upcoming self-titled debut EP. Built over an easy percussion track, rhythmic acoustic guitars, and Graceland guitar riffs, Ezra’s raspy voice sings to his hopeful lover: “Give me one good reason why I should never make a change/ Baby, if you want me, then all of this will go away.”
“Budapest” is available as a free download on his website, so go grab it while you can!
