Artist Spotlight: Sachin Teng
Los Angeles-based illustrator Sachin Teng has one philosophy when it comes to art: to treat it like a language. “Sometimes things get lost in translation, so I spend most of my time finding the artifacts people have left behind,” he states on his website. Teng mostly does commissioned editorial work for publications like Wired, The New Yorker and The New Republic. But he also sells prints on Society6, and he has a whole portfolio of personal work. His style has a colorful, retro vibe that’s surrealist at times and futuristic in others. To see more of his work, remember to follow him on Tumblr.
