Lazyeyes: “Darling Dear”

Lazyeyes: “Darling Dear”

After their debut EP earlier this year, Brooklyn quartet Lazyeyes are getting ready to release their second EP early in 2014. To hold us over, they released one of the tracks from the upcoming set “Darling Dear.” The smokey, lo-fi indie-rock track mixes bombastic drum ‘n’ bass with warm shoegaze guitars and vocals. Jason Abrishami’s melodies are sweet and catchy through the hook of Would you be alright, dear?, and the wall of sound created by the over-driven bass and reverbed guitars fill everything out in a dreamy soundscape.

You can stream “Darling Dear” on bandcamp, or check out the “non-official” music video here. And be sure to buy their self-titled debut EP.
