Watch Noam Chomsky and Michel Gondry Discuss Childhood Fears and Other Gems

Legendary activist and linguist Noam Chomsky is probably one of the more unique public figures in the United States and worldwide. For the release of a new documentary by also-legendary filmmaker Michel Gondry about Chomsky, Is the Man Who Is Tall Happy?, the pair hung around after an early viewing of the film to talk about their own lives and work. Interesting tidbits include what a 10-year-old Chomsky had nightmares about, as well as Chomsky and Gondry’s thoughts on why they hated school (an interesting assertion from Chomsky, considering he’s been a professor at MIT for decades). You can check out the trailer for Gondry’s film, which is currently screening at some independent film centers, here.
