Between the Quiet, a Photo Series Inspired by Chan-Wook Park’s “Stoker”

Korean director Chan-Wook Park‘s first English-language film was a dark drama/thriller that echoed the director’s penitence for odd family dynamics. California-based photographer May Xiong captures the look and feel of the movie in her series Between the Quiet, a beautiful homage to not only the film’s content but also its dark-green cinematography. The photos feature a model in place of ‘s character India. If you liked this, you should also check out Xiong’s Bruised and Broken, a somewhat loosely-based homage to the film Atonement.
