Watch the Jaw-Dropping Dance Moves of Two South African Street Dancers in “Magic Hats”
Check out this awesome highlight reel-of-sorts of a pair of South African dancers. Magic Hats features awesome moves from Jabu and JR, two Soweto natives who’ve been dancing since they were children. I’m guessing the video was named for the impressive slow-motion hat tosses that close the showcase. (Unfortunately, I can’t tell you which hat belongs to whom.) Filmed by Jake Sumner, the moves are Jabu and JR’s unique takes on pantsula, a family of dance styles that have been in Soweto since the ’80s. For more, check out the feature over at Alldayeveryday.
